Plant hire for Worcester jobs
Worcester city centre (WR1) is 32.5 road miles from our Wolverhampton yard, inside our 35-mile delivery area. Delivery is £80.50 each way, £161.00 delivered and collected, ex VAT, and checkout prices your own postcode before you pay. Book online or call 01902 213089. No insurance needed to hire. You're responsible for the machine while it's with you. You can get a hired-in plant insurance quote at checkout.
Worcester has a mix of homes: 34.7% semi-detached, 23.1% detached and 21.4% terraced in the 2021 Census. Two local points matter. The River Severn floods parts of the city: at 4.75 m on the Barbourne gauge properties on Pitchcroft Lane flood, and the record is 5.79 m from February 2020, so check the river level before a riverside job. And the city has 19 conservation areas, where you must give the council six weeks' notice before working on a tree.

Jobs we deliver to in Worcester
Driveways and dropped kerbs
Apply to Worcestershire County Council for a dropped kerb; its contractor builds it. The U17-5, dumper and roller dig out and compact the drive behind it.
Extension footings
Footings for extensions on the semis of Claines and Warndon, dug with the U17-5 to the depth your engineer or building control sets.
Gardens near trees
Check with the city council whether a tree has a Tree Preservation Order before you dig near it; its Tree Advisory Service costs £90.
Breaking out old drives
Old concrete drives and patios broken out with the KM55 breaker on the K008-5.
Drainage
Much of Worcester sits on red Mercia Mudstone, which weathers to a sticky clay, so dig a test pit before a soakaway and do a free LinesearchbeforeUdig search before digging.
